I compose each painting in photoshop, create a digital print on canvas, then apply acrylic paint, and mixed media; resin finishes the piece creating a high gloss effect. 

The fashion industry inspired "Manufactured Beauty" being both beautiful and corrupt at the same time. As the girl peers at a sign that states "you can always tell when beauty is manufactured", she snarls. The background is an interpretation of rust, which inspires my work because rusted metal creates beautiful colors, but it is decay. People or material things may appear to be beautiful, but there is decay or corruption underneath the surface.
